Annual First Aid & CPR Refresher Training

This Meditec Training course provides you with an opportunity to practice and update your skills at any time during your period as a qualified first aider. The health and safety executive and Resuscitation Council (UK) strongly recommend that you attend a refresher session once every year. This course is for people holding a current First aid at work or Emergency first aid at work certificate or anybody wishing to refresh their first aid skills.
This is not a requalification course, it is and annual update / refresher training, ensuring your knowledge and skills are retained and sharpened. This session builds on your expertise and confidence by involving you in realistic situations with simulated casualties. Candidates will practice first aid in practical, hands-on scenario sessions.

Course Syllabus:

• Adult, child and infant resuscitation.
  
• Various First Aid practical scenarios.
  

Course Duration
3 hours

Assessment and Certification
On completion of this course, all delegates will be able to confidently demonstrate all areas of this syllabus. Throughout the course our instructors will use simulated incidents using resuscitation manikins. All candidates will be issued with a certificate of attendance upon successful completion of this course. There is no formal examination at the end of the course; however the instructor will provide continuous assessment throughout the course.
